SEMINAR

We organise seminars on emotional and psychological wellbeing of children and adolescents because most mental illnesses start from childhood and extend to adult hood. Childhood and adolescence is a critical stage of development of the brain. Early negative experiences such as bullying and violence can increase the risk of developing some mental disorders. Teachers and parents can play a critical role in prevention of and also identification of such disorders.

Call To Action

Nigeria is underpinned by poor societal attitudes towards mental illnesses, inadequate resources, facilities and mental health staff. Approximately, 80% of individuals with mental health needs do not have access to care.

Together, we can make a positive impact.
